I received an email today from The Conran Shop in NYC indicating they are having a 20% off USM Haller. I wouldn’t normally bring it up on this blog, but I have to tell you I have always loved Haller Modular Systems and have wanted a USM Haller bookcase in my office for a long time now. The chrome plated tube framework and powder coated metal panel designs are so timeless that the furniture is part of the permanent design collection at The Museum of Modern Art in New York.
Since a Haller bookcase might be a bit out of price range for most, I was pretty into discovering a blog all about bookcases and the likes @ booksathome. You’ll find a pretty vast collection of bookcases in all price ranges and from all eras. Seems Erik @ booksathome is developing a highly flexible, inexpensive bookshelf system offered through his blog . Excited to see what he comes up with.
