It’s Raining, It’s Pouring

Oh man, I just left the house, only to come right back after driving for 5 minutes. It’s raining so hard here in LA I’m afraid that being up here in the hills I might not be able to get back home. It’s pretty much a flash flood around here. The post office will have to wait…and so will the rest of Christmas shopping.

Volvo 1800 ES



 So long Avanti.  Hello Volvo.

We parked next to one of these rare beauties last night. omg…it’s my new favorite ride.

The Volvo 1800ES (the “ES” stood for “Estate,” Brit-speak for station wagon) was Volvo’s creative attempt to wring a little bit more life out of an aging design. It was produced for just two model years, 1972 and 1973.

I’ve spent too much time today looking for something to post about. So, I decided to be a bit silly and post the lunch I just made for my husband and myself (because it was so good).
-Organic Tomatoes from Hollywood Farmers Market
-Buffalo Mozzarella from Artisan Cheese
-Arbequina of California Olive Oil and French Baguette from Cheesestore of Silverlake
-Balsamic Vinegar of Modena, Basil picked from live 6″ bush and Columbus Italian Dry Salame all from Trader Joe’s
