Lots of talk about Marfa, Texas these days. Besides wanting to stay @ El Cosmico, I would love to check out the Chinati Foundation; the contemporary art museum based upon the ideas of its founder, artist Donald Judd. The 25 year anniversay of the Chinati Foundation coming up this October 7th-9th and would be a perfect time to go see Donald Judd’s 100 works in Mill Aluminum and 15 works in Concrete set amoung this 340 acre compound. Other artist works to be seen there include Dan Flavin, Ronnie Horn and Carl Andre among many others.
